UltraVision distributor of over 20 years, Laboratoires C.V.E in Strasbourg, France, has launched KeraSoft^®3 at the very first Keratoconus congress in Europe, Eurokeratocone Congress. KeraSoft^®3, a Silicone Hydrogel contact lens for Keratoconic patients, is the latest in a long line of UltraVision products L.C.V.E has launched.

Over 500 Keratoconus experts from all over Europe attended the one-day congress, in Toulouse, to hear about advances in research and the treatment of Keratoconus. One of these advances is KeraSoft^®3, a ‘world’s first’ breakthrough product, a lathe-cut silicone hydrogel contact lens for Keratoconus which, along with HydroWave^®, is being launched by UltraVision distributors across the globe.

KeraSoft^®3 is the newest version in a family of contact lenses designed to give clear, comfortable vision for people who have keratoconus. The new front surface toric design gives increased and consistent levels of vision, enhanced by UltraVision’s unique wavefront technology. Manufactured in silicone hydrogel material, the lens allows about 4 times the oxygen permeability of traditional hydrogel materials, and has a low modulus, ensuring excellent comfort and longer wearing times.
